Been doing some explorations on light painting using a flashlight. It’s really simple but fun! The only tip I could give is not to point the flashlight straight to the camera. This avoids ugly lens flares and haze.
I made these two exposing 8 seconds at f11. That small aperture produced the streaks that are more visible in the photo on the right. An even smaller aperture like f22 would produce more streaks but you’d also need to expose for longer and I didn’t want the stars to start showing their trails.
