WordCamp US 2017 – Nashville

The WordCamp US conference took place last Dec 1, 2 and 3 in Nashville, the city of music. Here are a few sights of this fantastic community event.

This event is the annual gathering of all the communities in USA working with WordPress, the open source content management system. More than 1500 attendees came to the event from cities around the world.

One of the big highlights this year was Gutenberg, the editor for the next WordPress generation. There was a booth conducting usability tests and the data gathered will be taken into account to shape the future of Gutenberg.

The talks given on the WordCamp can be reached at the WCUS 2017 category on WordPress.tv.

In all these photos, I’ve been using the Classic Chrome film simulation of the Fujifilm X-T2 with subtly increased shadows. It’s a bit complex to use since the photos tend to look brighter than usual, so it’s not always ok when there’s too much light. All in all, I like the soft skin colors, the rich shadows and that film look it produces. I’m still using it today, but now with other tweaks to highlights and color, and want to get more comfortable with its lovely look.
