This is one of my favorite photos from Osaka, at the vibrant Dotonbori district 🇯🇵🎏 I edited it for that pinkish-purple tone that I’m somehow attracted to, and to remove a guy that was on the front.
The second one is in Shibuya, and the third one is the original photo with the guy.
The interesting one is the fourth one. I asked AI to remove the guy from the original photo and give it the ambience of the one in Shibuya. And the result is pretty cool I’d say 🤖 It even rendered the rain on the floor ☔️

I’m missing Tokio and its energy so much. The Shibuya Crossing, featured in many movies and games is famous for a reason. It might be just another crossing, but it’s all about the lights, and buildings, and vehicles. Shoes. Umbrellas. Rain drops. Someone running. The colors that the rain spilled while playing at the billboards. It’s like a vertex from Tokio, a whirlwind where everything and everyone gets mixed.

⛩️🦊 The Fushimi Inari temple is one of the most remarkable places I have ever been to. It’s so much more than the famous torii gates. If you keep walking past the tourist hordes you might find a passage into the east-south side of the mountain into what is called the Fushimi Inari Trail. Can’t deny nor confirm that it’s next to a sign warning about wild boars 🐗 You’ll find multiple of other shrines that are largely unvisited by the crowds, wrapped by silence, nature and shadows. There’s even some warrior god in one of them. Some torii gates in the middle of the forest. And a myriad of those kitsune 🦊 the messengers of Inari, the god of harvest and good fortune. They’ve been watching over this mountain for centuries

The Fujisan 🗻 woke up late that day, tired from so much snow the day before. It had something light for dinner at twilight while it gazed at the fishermen wrapping their things up for the day, and went to sleep… while the neighbors stayed busy downstairs.

Fuji-san was way more gorgeous than I imagined 🗻
The 3776 m (2946 from Kawaguchiko) of this legendary volcano rise suddenly in the horizon with no other peaks around at all. It’s tricky to see, out of the two full days I was there, only the first day was completely visible. Kawaguchiko is the perfect place to view the majestic Fuji-san.

I loved Shibuya at evening with its colorful light

I loved Shibuya at evening with its colorful lights bleeding on wet streets crowded with umbrellas and the soothing sound of rain splashing everywhere…
And what I found myself marveled by is, that between the skyscrapers and neons, it felt like a small European town with its myriad of alleys, diagonal streets, curves everywhere, and lot of people close, coming and going, alive, vibrating with as much energy as the colors of Shibuya. From all the famous neighborhoods, Shibuya, Akihabara, Harajuku, and Shinjuku, I liked Shibuya best 🩵

Happy Elio running the @mountainman.de in the Alps 🏔️
It’s the last time that this race is taking place in winter so it was definitely something very special. The weather was great, as if the sun wanted to make it really unique. The snow, the ice, the mud, the smiles, the bayrische Musik, the sound of water, the dancing air. I remember everything.
This connects me directly to my high school years where our physical education teacher would take us up the hills in Salta 🇦🇷 to run. While it was difficult, it was also a great time that we enjoyed all together at the top.

The alpine town Reit im Winkl doesn’t need daylight to shine ✨
When the mountains go to sleep and the village lights start whispering, everything feels a little more magical.
I just realized it’s my third time here in less than a year. First time was in spring, then autumn to participate in the MountainMan, now in winter to join the MountainMan again. I think this means I have to return in full summer. It’s easy to explain what pulls me here. It’s so similar to Salta in Argentina where I was born. I had on one side the hills of Salta, on the other, the Andes mountain range. Reit im Winkl is also nested between mountains, the Chiemgaueralpen. That’s its magic. But also, it’s the people here. Everyone is so kind to me. And whenever they learn I’m from Argentina, they’re over the moon and start throwing every Spanish word they know. I love it here 🩵

Today I walked on the sea. I was in Büsum and made a Wattwanderung. The Wattenmeer is a UNESCO World Heritage and for a good reason because it’s mesmerizing. Once the water retreats, the sea bed has so many interesting things to see! We found little worms, a crab, and these that are Seepocken or Percebe in Spanish. The sun was jumping across the thousands pockets of water, and the weather couldn’t have been better. And even towards the end we had that fantastic sunset.
