New year, new blog

For a while I’ve wanted to start writing again. Working for Automattic exclusively as a code wrangler on the Jetpack plugin for WordPress really makes you want to put yourself in the shoes of the users to understand their necessities.

I haven’t really blogged since the times I was blogging in my now defunct design blog I Love Colors. My work and focus is now a bit different so this blog is going to be a mix of WordPress and maybe JavaScript stuff, travels that I get to make, and some lettering and graffiti here and there, either that I draw or find in the street.

So let’s start with a graffiti I found on the street. The graffiti in the featured image was found under the Manhattan bridge in Brooklyn, in this location:

Maybe this was a work in progress? This one in the opposite side of the bridge had much more elements

In any case each one is gorgeous on its own. These were taken on a rainy night on November, after visiting Jane’s carousel, which is a story for another post.

Hope you have a great 2017!
