The Edinburgh castle

The Edinburgh castle is located in the center of the city, very close to the Waverley train station.

In front of its entrance, the Royal mile begins, with its fantastic mix of scottish architecture.

The Edinburgh castle is really massive —look at the couple at the bottom. It's interesting that it has a quite different and darker mood than others like Neuschwanstein, Meersburg or Windsor. Definitely a place worth exploring.
