Styles for Capture One are like presets for Lightroom. You can apply them and then tweak the image further. They’re great as a starting point to quickly explore color schemes or to apply the same consistent look to a batch of images.
I use styles in these ways, and over time I’ve created a few styles that I like and wanted to give something back to the world so here they are.
These styles for Capture One have a moody look rather than a bright one since the starting point were these photos made on an overcast day at the mountains. All photos were made with a Fujifilm X-T2 paired with the vintage lens Helios 44-2 58mm f2. I’ll soon post an article about the experience shooting with this lens.
Some of these styles use Fujifilm film simulations in the Base Characteristics panel, so feel free to set them to a simulation that matches your image better.
If you use them, please let me know in the comments and link them to your photos!
Here are some other examples using these Capture One styles in these photos made in the Glencoe in Scotland.
If you found these useful, feel free to buy me a coffee so I can stay awake and create more for you to download!
